I personally refurbished the typewriter. It writes smoothly and has no sticking keys. Body of typewriter is in good condition with normal signs of use. With that being said, the typewriter does have a few quirks.

Manufactured in Japan in the late 1960s or early 1970s, this Royal Signet Ultra-Portable Typewriter types great. See example. Everything functions as it should. The Signet has a nice touch feel, for an ultra-portable. Machine comes with top cover case as pictured.

Nice little antique Remington Portable (model2) typewriter with case. Tested working. See type example. The typewriter looks and types nice. It does have a bit of float with the "F" typebar as pictured. Usually it sets back with the rest, but often, it sets back to float an inch or so above the resting bar. Everything else seems to function well. The case is missing its handle. See pics.
