These spools haven’t been manufactured in decades and are becoming increasingly hard-to-find,especially in this condition. You can leave them in your typewriter permanently, just re-spool fresh ribbon onto them as needed.

The keys 4,r, f and c are quite stiff and need assistance to return to the resting position. Others don't fully return as well. All keys do properly print though. I expect a cleaning and oiling will solve these issues. The Glossy Black finish is very nice with only very minor scratches as shown in all pictures. The case is in good condition but with NO key. Please see all pictures for details and condition.

This machine is fitted with a script typeface. The type produces a flowing cursive style rather than standard block print, which is shown clearly in the type sample photos. Script font Smith-Coronas are less common than standard pica models.
