Type writer functions as it should. All keys, shifts, and tracking bar are smooth. This was my grandpa's, I did not clean or touch in anyway. Some collectors don't want it touched. This was the preferred typewriter of the Luke’s of Hemingway and many more famous writers. It appears to be fully functional although it needs new ink. I also tested it briefly before the ink dried so I cannot say with 100% certainty that it is fully functional.

Great looking typewriter it needs some cleaning and faceplate is broken on right side(see pictures). Ink is run dry it wouldn’t imprint on the paper I tested very well. Some of the paint is rubbed off on the side and some of the keys get stuck when pressed. The case has dust and blemishes from age use and storage and some stitching near the zipper is coming undone(see picture)
