Hello! This item powers up and the keys all seem to work but the spool doesn't move on its own. I'm not sure if this is fixable or night so this might be for parts. The typewriter needs a new ribbon. I do not have the key for the case, but it is unlocked. All of the keys work, including the backspace and all the tab keys. The tension selector and color selector both work. This typewriter has never been restored it is in original condition. The paint does have some wear. The case latches very securely and is safe to carry by the handle. It could definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning by someone who understands typewriters better than me. All of the margin functions work as well. The typewriter weighs 16 lb 10.2 oz.

Great color with only a couple of scuffs/scratches. Keep in mind it is almost 100 years old. The typewriter could probably use a new ribbon. Serial number is 1S40220. This is a unique and sought after item for collectors.

Overall very clean with minimal physical wear. Works well with a couple small issues: Carriage does not always engage on return but usually does about 95 percent of the time. Front cover that goes over keys, right side flange does not stay engaged into the slot but neither appear broken and really not an issue when typing as stays in place. Keys are a touch sticky but only a few and then they free up well with just a couple pushes. Could use a cleaning under the carriage and needs a new ribbon. Case is in Very nice condition with very light or minimal wear. Priced To Sell.
