This is a Royal Quiet De Luxe serial #2440377 which puts this as a 1952. See video and pics for demo and condition. Mechanically, everything on this typewriter seems to work. All the keys are very smooth. There's no rust or any real corrosion to speak of barely. Even a scratch on it comes with original case plus key. If you're looking for a typewriter to actually use this would be a great choice. We're the very small amount of maintenance and work. The serial number is A 1181429. The original platen, paper feed, ribbon feed, new ribbon, margin release, back space, tab, shift lock (firm push down to engage), original feet, bell are all good. Very nice clean typewriter.

Nice little antique Remington Portable (model2) typewriter with case. Tested working. See type example. The typewriter looks and types nice. It does have a bit of float with the "F" typebar as pictured. Usually it sets back with the rest, but often, it sets back to float an inch or so above the resting bar. Everything else seems to function well. The case is missing its handle. See pics.

Nice estate find! Appears to be in good shape for its age but does have marks and wear. All buttons work and the top part moves as you type. I do not know how to fully test or if it needs ink. That being the case, 100% sold as is with no returns. Please do not buy if you cannot agree to no returns.
