This listing is for a rather old corona typewriter. Seems to have all of its parts, but I don’t know. Punched a couple letters, and they seem to stick a tad. I would assume it needs a cleaning and oiling? Well, otherwise it’s in nice shape, and sold as is. Certainly a nice looking typewriter.

These spools haven’t been manufactured in decades and are becoming increasingly hard to find,especially in this condition. You can keep them in your typewriter permanently, just re-spool fresh ribbon onto them as needed.

This machine is fitted with a script typeface. The type produces a flowing cursive style rather than standard block print, which is shown clearly in the type sample photos. Script font Smith-Coronas are less common than standard pica models.

There is a bit of gold paint here and there on the keys. See 8th photo for a close-up. The typewriter works well, with the exception of the letters "Q" & "Z" that don't lift properly. It does need a new ink ribbon, which is totally dry.

This typewriter has a resurfaced platen, a new ribbon and new feet. New feet are important to keep the typewriter from moving while typing. Resurfaced Platen. I’m a retired, disabled U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Will need maintenance as keys are sticky. Good overall cosmetic condition. Not fully tested but seems like it would operational with maintenance. Does not appear to have damage, however sold as is. See pictures for details.

Case is worn but functional. Could use a typewriter lubrication. I did not hear a bell but I’m not sure if this model has one or maybe I didn’t have a lever correct. Lightweight compared to many I’ve seen.
