Great looking typewriter it needs some cleaning and faceplate is broken on right side(see pictures). Ink is run dry it wouldn’t imprint on the paper I tested very well. Some of the paint is rubbed off on the side and some of the keys get stuck when pressed. The case has dust and blemishes from age use and storage and some stitching near the zipper is coming undone(see picture)

This is a Royal Quiet De Luxe serial #2653827 which puts this as a 1953. See video and pics for demo and condition. Royals are known for their rugged durability and this one shows it. As you can see, she has a skipping problem. Other than that, she types well. The 1953 model introduced the "speed control" feature (the knob on the side) so you can adjust how much tension is on the main spring. That is actually quite a nice feature that I wish all QDL's had. The machine does come with a new ribbon and the literature shown. Free shipping is to continental US only. The item is cross posted.
