This was the preferred typewriter of the Luke’s of Hemingway and many more famous writers. It appears to be fully functional although it needs new ink. I also tested it briefly before the ink dried so I cannot say with 100% certainty that it is fully functional.

Remington Personal Writer Typewriter made by Sperry Rand. Based on the identification number fy264129 it appears to have been made in 1968. Made in Holland. The unit needs repair. Both lower case and tab sets are not working. It does seem that it would be easily repaired by a person familiar with the machine. It does have its original case. The does seem to be a resurgence of interest in manual typing. Once purchased, the typewriter will be packaged and shipped via the US Postal Service.
