This is a vintage Adler J5 (Note maybe?) with Pica typeface I believe… check the photo showing the type sample. I do not know vintage typewriters…. Everything seems to be well kept. Red and black ink ribbon functions well enough to leave visible characters on paper. Keys don’t stick and all seem to function well. The case is missing one of the tabs that fit into the clasp on one side. The other side does not seem to want to clasp. Also I could not get the typewriter out of the bottom piece. I’m sure it will come out but I chose to leave that to the buyer to figure out.

This typewriter does not work properly, when trying to type the letters get hung up together. Otherwise, the roller works and moves easily back and forth. The case is a little beat up with white scuffs on the outside and a break on the inside. The break does not seem to make much of a difference for this case as it still is very sturdy. Closing mechanism works fine. Typewriter is permanently mounted in case.
