A perfectly snappy little machine, with the advanced features of the Luxus variant (touch selector, ribbon color selector, integrated carriage lock in the paper rest mechanism, etc.), this is a treat to type on. Cosmetic flaws include scuffed paint on the front corners and yellowed card guides. The only functional flaw is that the right platen knob is, for some curious reason, on a geared mechanism, which can skip if the platen knob is pulled to certain angles while feeding. Mostly feeds fine, though, and the left platen knob is solid.

Everything seems to function properly more than likely. One thing different about this is the keys have been covered. I don’t know why probably to protect them, but underneath of these key covers more than likely is the glass top original key I am not removing the key covers.
