This is a vintage Adler J5 (Note maybe?) with Pica typeface I believe… check the photo showing the type sample. I do not know vintage typewriters…. Everything seems to be well kept. Red and black ink ribbon functions well enough to leave visible characters on paper. Keys don’t stick and all seem to function well. The case is missing one of the tabs that fit into the clasp on one side. The other side does not seem to want to clasp. Also I could not get the typewriter out of the bottom piece. I’m sure it will come out but I chose to leave that to the buyer to figure out.

I do not know anything about these typewriters, I have another Smith corona posted in my store for sale, when I first opened the box, the numbers and letters would stick every so often, but it seemed like the more I did it the less they would stick so my guess is it just needs broken again. The machine itself is very clean however, whatever the part is that lifts the ribbon up to meet the letters and numbers does not appear to be working I don’t know if that’s an easy fix or if it again just needs to be lubed. Everything else appears to be working as it should.

It is a Corona 3 made by the Corona Typewriter Co. of Groton, New York. The last patent date printed on it is July 10, 1917. Visually, this typewriter is in really good condition with only minor oxidation and surface wear.
