  17. Vintage Smith Corona 5S Series Silent Typewriter Green Keys 1950

    Something is keeping it from letting the keys fully hit the paper. I dont see any reason why it shouldn't work. But I cant get it too the slide moves back and fourth freely when I pull the side tabs but it doesnt mkve when I press the keys. Im not sure if there a lock or something on it. I dont know to much about type writers. The last picture is of the gears and internals of it. I dont really see anything bent or anything that looks damaged. If you have any questions or advice please reach out. Also I dont have a case for it.
