One vintage L.C. Smith Corona Sterling "Flat Top" mini typewriter in maroon red. I understand it was made some time in the 1930's and was also called the "Speedline". This is just from my brief internet research. It has the "Floating Shift" feature. It needs to be cleaned internally probably, and lubed. It seems to work as it should except the "@/cent symbol key does not retract all the way as seen in pictures 11, 12, 13. I know nothing about working on these so I leave that to the typewriter tinkerers out there. Includes its case which has corner wear and overall wear from decades of being banged around. But it did its job of protecting the typewriter and the clasps and hinges still work. No keys for lock. Thanks for looking!

These spools haven’t been manufactured in decades and are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially in this condition. You can keep them in your typewriter permanently, just re-spool fresh ribbon onto them as needed.

Here is a vintage 1949 Smith Corona Skyriter typewriter. This was very early in the production run with the 2Y prefix and the serial number 4456. Seems to be working well with basic functionality. There were no sticking keys or mechanical issues I observed when I tested it. It does come with a new spare ink roll still sealed in the little bag. I would recommend some tuning and cleaning. The most notable issues I see are that the padding is missing off of the little strap handle, just leaving the flexible metal handle. Also the black feet on the bottom of the case seem to have worn away/fallen off. See pics for details.
