Went through and refreshed this one- despite a gnarly carriage return, which I think might be normal on these, and a slightly low-printing "o," this machine is good to go! Features an international Spanish/German QWERTY keyboard and types in Congress elite. Case is worse for wear. Ships without ribbon, as this one is nearly dead and, well, I need the metal din spools!

These spools haven’t been manufactured in decades and are becoming increasingly hard-to-find. You can leave them in your typewriter permanently, just re-spool fresh ribbon onto them as needed. These were made in the USA.

Royal Arrow portable typewriter with case and owner's manual. Typewriter would benefit from a fresh ribbon (see typed sample in photo #3). No sticking keys and good action on all other features. Right platen knob is a little loose. Typewriter is otherwise in decent shape with no missing or damaged parts beyond some mild corrosion and dust in the hard to reach areas. This was the preferred typewriter of the Luke’s of Hemingway and many more famous writers. It appears to be fully functional although it needs new ink. I also tested it briefly before the ink dried so I cannot say with 100% certainty that it is fully functional.
