The serial number dates this typewriter in the 1934 era. Photos are good to describe. The typewriter types well in Elite or 12 CPI as you can see from the examples. Top plates ribbon cover, back covers, side windows, have been removed and/or cleaned.

All of the keys appear to function as intended. The carriage goes all the way to the left and does not stay in place when move back to the middle as intended. I’m not sure what the issue is that needs to be repaired regarding the carriage.

This was the preferred typewriter of the Luke’s of Hemingway and many more famous writers. It appears to be fully functional although it needs new ink. I also tested it briefly before the ink dried so I cannot say with 100% certainty that it is fully functional.
