This was my grandmother's typewriter and she always maintained it and had it serviced. It Powers on fine but it keeps moving by itself across, when it's turned on, and I can reset it but it goes back again. So it is definitely working condition, I just don't know which adjustment to turn off. No rust of any kind, it's been stored inside and selling in working condition. Very nice ivory colored key board and space bar. Has a few blemishes on the paper rest from the years of service but few elsewhere. The original platen, paper feed, original feet, back space, margin release, tab are in good working condition and the ribbon feed, new ribbon, bell work well.

I'm not sure the exact production date of it. By the web info it is 1934. The typewriter was last used in 1969 judging by the carbon copy papers. It is in pristine condition, no rust, no paint peeling, all super nice as a time capsule. The case has several moving/storage scuffs and scratches as pictured. There is on leather handle as it disintegrated totally. I haven't done any cleaning to the machine not to disturb anything. I'm sure you need to lubricate it etc. I'm sure there is NO other Royal Portable on this planet in this condition. We ship to the continental USA only. No PO box please.
