Vintage portable Smith-Corona Skyriter typewriter from the 1950's. Made in Great Britain. Sold as is. Includes case, which is in good condition with just a couple of scuffs. To this untained eye it appears to be complete, aligned and operable, but needs cleaning and lubricating. Carriage mechanism works well, some keys stick. Unsure about ribbon mechanism. Keys are grimy but clean up well.

Great looking typewriter it needs some cleaning and faceplate is broken on right side(see pictures). Ink is run dry it wouldn’t imprint on the paper I tested very well. Some of the paint is rubbed off on the side and some of the keys get stuck when pressed. The case has dust and blemishes from age use and storage and some stitching near the zipper is coming undone(see picture)
