Functional. Needs a new ribbon. I posted the typewriter before but thought there was wear to the keys and have since cleaned the keys and now it’s looking better. Some sort of soap film was on the keys before. As far as I can tell the typewriter should work great with a new ribbon. No sticking keys. The carriage advances and is smooth to move. A slight tear in bottom left corner of the outside of the case covering. Probably could be repaired easily with some glue. Feel free to make offers.

Acquired from an estate, this listing is for an Antique Germany, Circa 1920's AEG Gerbrauchsanweisung Model 6 Typewriter, with oak veneer case and instruction manual booklet. AEG - Schreibmaschine / Gebrauchsanweisung / Model 6 / AEG - Deutsche Werke: Erfurt Berlin, Germany. In good condition, everything seems to function as it should. Went through and refreshed this one- despite a gnarly carriage return, which I think might be normal on these, and a slightly low-printing "o," this machine is good to go! Features an international Spanish/German QWERTY keyboard and types in Congress elite. Case is worse for wear. Ships without ribbon, as this one is nearly dead and, well, I need the metal din spools!
