This is a vintage portable typewriter The brand is SCM SMITH CORONA I’m not sure how to use it so I have not verified any writing However when I press the letter keys the metal things move forward and the top moves to the left and when I press the back arrow it moves back to the right so I’m assuming it works as it should maybe you need ink? This machine is fitted with a script typeface. The type produces a flowing cursive style rather than standard block print, which is shown clearly in the type sample photos. Script font Smith-Coronas are less common than standard pica models.
