I tested this receiver with generic speakers (crackle is from speakers I used)and sounds as it should for its age. It is simple. It’s a nice nostalgic piece but quality is that of 1971. I did leave receiver play for a while to let tubes heat up and confirm it continued to work as it should and it did.
