The Little Leather Library was a series of books published by the Little Leather Library Corporation from 1916-1923. They were published as a way for people in wartime and Depression era America to purchase and own works of classic literature at an affordable price in a small format that would not require a lot of space to build a collection. Several different series were published using various cover formats and titles. The series containing the book in this listing was known as the Redcroft edition and was published from 1920-1923. In all there were 101 volumes in the Redcroft series of Little Leather Library books as well as a 30 volume set of the Bible; Old and New Testament, and a 10 volume set called the Child Health Library.
