The book features color fold-out plates and is illustrated, making it a valuable resource for historical medical and scientific research. Stamped, embossed hardcover with binding in poor condition. Front and back covers detached and spine binding loose from sewn page backing. Old ownership on front free fly. Some browning to pages, and a few are detached. But color fold out charts are all intact and in good condition. There is also a 50-page color supplement on medicinal fruits and herbs.
