Lot of 3 vintage medical books (Principles of Microbiology, 1954; Textbook of Obstetrics and Obstetric Nursing, 1956; Essentials of Pediatrics, 1954) Books are in acceptable condition with some shelf and handling wear to covers and bindings. Corners and edges have some bumps and wear/tear. Some writing (name and underlining), ‘Obstetrics’ book’s front cover has been torn away from the spine, with visible meshing. Overall all books are in usable condition. No loose or missing pages. ‘Microbiology’ book has some ink staining on some of the right lower corner of the text block. This is a lot of 2 antiquarian science and medicine collectable books. The first one is “Human Biology”written by George Alfred Baitsell and published by McGraw Hill Publications (still publishing science and medicine books today). It was published in 1950 and in excellent condition. Also, it is the second edition. The second book in this lot is “Gray’s Anatomy” written by Henry Gray and this is the twenty-second edition. It was published by Lea & Febiger in 1930 and is illustrated with 1,232 engravings. Please see pictures.
