Tested with an analog Cassette Tape because I don't have a DCC Tape to try. I was able to Play, Fast Forward and Rewind the Tape with no issues. It was connected to a newer Sony receiver without a designated Tape input so I used the CD input on the receiver.

I've had good success at restoring these so far and you'll get back a super performing cassette deck that will run another 30 years. I am out of heads and exterior parts (plus motors) so if yours are found defective (very rare) you'll have to source them elsewhere.
