There are no ears or screws to install them for rack mounting. One of the two motor mounts (right side) was removed and then glued and then heat sealed for extra strength. While attending to the motor mount the belts were checked and all are tight and operate smoothly.The interior is very clean and did not need cleaning.

Up for sale is a Teac A-400 Stereo Cassette Deck in excellent physical shape! This cassette deck has been tested and powers on just fine. I put a cassette in and turned it on to play and it seemed to be spinning the cassette just fine. The audio output has not been tested, though, as I don't have the setups for it at the moment. I don't see any reason it shouldn't play audio based on what it shows, but there are no guarantees. This unit is being sold as-is, no returns. Thanks for looking!

Tested and both A and B sound great (see video). The eject button on the B side gets stuck and you have to manually push down on the latch to reset it (see last picture). I didn't have a blank tape to test the record function.
