For parts/repair. Powers on but won’t play, ffw, rw etc. Tape door was opening like should but when put tape in to test it got stuck. Had to remove cover and push on lever on inside while pushing button on the outside.

Vintage Kenwood KX-830 Stereo Cassette Deck Tape Player Powers On Selling AS IS for parts. Spindles spin when no tape is inserted, but once tape is loaded they don’t. I believe belts need to be replaced and unit needs to be serviced. Meters do jump when unplugging. In good cosmetic vintage condition with signs of use and wear. Tape deck door sticks out more slightly on the right side, not flush. And when pressing to open makes a mechanical sound. Again, selling AS IS. This was an estate find. Please review all pics.
