*RARE** The Syracuse China "Thebes" pattern, made by the Onondaga Pottery Company O.P.Co. was manufactured in Syracuse New York. The company, founded in 1871, was located in the Syracuse area and specialized in producing fine china for various industries, including restaurants and railroads. This pattern, Thebes, was introduced in 1910 featuring a green and gold design, and was used by the Rutland Railroad and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. It was available by special order only. It is 14" long and 10" wide. Other than 2 little pits on the bottom, the platter is in perfect condition. Non-smoking home. It is very heavy.
