Set Lot of 2 Syracuse China O.P.CO. SY312 5" Fruit Dessert Sauce Saucer Bowls Gold band Gold rubbed off only a bit here or there. A few paint imperfections. Photos show worst spots I could find. Some utensil markings. Please see photos. Due to item manufacturing date normal wear is to be assumed given the age. Such wear or manufacturer's imperfections is to be expected. After quite a bit of research, I have determined that this is not and I repeat not the Allendale pattern. The marking on the back of the plate signifies it is much older than the Allendale pattern. If you look at the underglaze designs, this pattern is 53305/53306. The handles look like it is part of the Puritan shape which was manufactured from 1903 to 1915. The Allendale pattern was manufactured under the federal pattern from 1938 through 1969.
