I salvaged this sink from my home during renovations. I’ve had it in storage over 8 years. It is a beautiful piece that maybe someone can use in their home. The sink is stamped (11.9. 1927) and the base is stamped (3.7. 1927). I did use some tooth paste and tried to remove some of the rust stains and did not do a good job but overall it looks to be in good condition for 98 years old! The base weighs just under 47lbs. And the top is just under 98lbs. I did add a picture of some of the history about my home and where it was installed. Maybe too much information and maybe not! Old Oval Cast-Iron Pedestal Sink Fluted30x21. This is such a classic old cast-iron pedestal sink. It was salvaged out of an old victorian style home. It is rare for this style of sink to surface with the oval shape basin and fluted base. Usually when this style of sink does surface it is made of old porcelain and not of the cast-iron.
