Serial # A - 796563 Based on my research, the "Quiet" model was one of the very first Quiet De Luxe models. It has embossed logos which appear to be unlike all of the others I've seen that use decals. I tested it, and it works, however a few of the typebars were sticking a bit. It likely needs to be cleaned and adjusted.

Vintage 1960’s Royal Safari Manual Typewriter Orange/Red Portable w/Case, No Key. I tried all the keys and they seemed to work however it may need some adjusting or whatever is done for typewriters and a ribbon replacement. It is in good shape has some scuffs and scrapes the lock on the case is broken however it does snap shut. Selling AS IS AS FOUND, as typewriter’s are not my specialty I may have missed something. Great collectors piece!
