Antique Vintage 1940s ROYAL Typewriter MAGIC MARGIN Touch Control Missing J key. Not exactly sure of the age. It belonged to my Grandfather and I remember my mother using it back in the early 1980's before she got a new electric one. All functions appear to work as they should but Im certainly no antique Typewriter expert so there may be issues. I'm sure a good clea ing and some maintenance would do wonders for it. A 1964 Hermes Baby, built for the Israeli market. Types right to left with Hebrew characters. Everything works, but the body is a little worn, with old scars and slight bending in the rear corner.Heavily packed with lots of bubble wrap for protection. The case lid fittings show some tarnish. The text is small, so I'm replacing it with a larger typewriter.

This typewriter works, but not without its issues. A couple of keys are rotated wrong. The platen roller is very pitted, and the feed rollers need replacing. The cosmetic condition is nice with a replaced handle on the case for carrying daily. One of the thumb screws for the ribbon is missing and it has a slotted screw in its place. The mainspring and drawband are good. Overall, this typewriter is very clean and a is nice machine for parts or to restore. It is complete.
