I think it is decent shape structurally. It will fold and unfold well. However, it will need, quite a bit of of work and maintenance to put it in any degree of function. One of the things I noticed about the typewriter is the carriage roller is stuck and will not roll.

Vintage Antique 1900s Underwood Elliott Typewriter Large Wooden Shipping Crate in solid condition. The crate does show signs of its age with some loss of wood and insect holes which only adds to the Patina of the very old box. The crate has graphics/letting on both ends and the bottom. The graphics are upside down when the opening is up. Very solid with not rot. The crate measures 19” x 17” x 11 1/4”. Combine this purchase with one of my Underwood typewriters and I’ll do my best to combine the shipping.

This auction is for a vintage 1930s Royal Model 10 typewriter with glass panels (12-835736). The typewriter DOESN'T work. The middle keys are stuck and do not stick the pages. The in ternal keys need to be cleaned. There is rust on the body. The touch keys have some heavy discoloration on the space bar and bottom corner keys. There are heavy nicks in the feet. Please look at the pictures.

Typewriter seems to be working, the current ribbon is old but does stamp lightly. BUT, this could probably stand to be serviced. Do not expect it to be 100% functional and ready to write a book. It may be, I just haven’t tested it with a new ribbon.

Over 90 years old. The serial number dates this typewriter in the 1934 era. Photos are good to describe. The typewriter types well in, Pica 10 cpi, as you can see from the examples. The original 12” platen, feet, paper feed, backspace, new ribbon, original spools and covers, ribbon feed, margin release, loud bell, tab are all good.
