First off this typewriter needs some type of repair. When powered on I hear it making a very light sound. It's very quiet but you can tell it's getting power. The top part moves when you hit space bar but the keys do not work. It could be something super simple but I do not know. The ENTER key seams maybe stuck. So SOLD AS PARTS OR REPAIR. It is a super cool color and a rare Five Hundred model. Overall it is in good condition with fairly light wear. So it would make an excellent unit to repair. Message menif you need anything please. I am happy to try a couple things to see if it works if you have a idea.

These spools haven’t been manufactured in decades and are becoming increasingly hard-to-find,especially in this condition. You can keep them in your typewriter permanently, just re-spool fresh ribbon onto them as needed.
