Two antique poetry books from Riverside Press Cambridge. The Golden Treasury is a collection of poems by Francis T. Palgrave. Palgrave was a professor of poetry at the university of Oxford and this collection is a first edition. The Little Red Book of Modern Verse is a selection from the Work of Contemporaneous American Poets, and is a second edition. There is some wear to both books. The binding of the little red book has considerably more wear than the golden treasury, though the bindings and pages of both books are completely intact. Both books are phenomenally intact, given their antiquity, and are being sold together.
