"The Sun in Art" by Walter Herdeg, published by Graphis Press in 1968, is a hardcover book exploring the topic of art through the theme of the sun. This book, which includes text in English, German, and French. As an art student in the 1960’s one of my professors was the noted artist Paul Shaub. Included with the book is a hand printed woodblock holiday card with 12 surfaces, signed by Paul. There is slight foxing on the inside cover, shown in a photograph. Otherwise it is in very good condition. I hope someone who loves this theme gets to own it now.
