Everything seems to light up when plugged in . See photos . I took some pictures with the back side lit up. My father was a WWII navy radio operator aboard ship for 8 years. He used this set at home as a hobby as I grew up. It has been unused for 16 years. I could ship or do a pick up in Cortland , Ohio. Original operating manual is included with the receiver. New tubes, capacitors less than 2 years old. Powers on. Can receive a few local stations on the broadcast band but absolutely no reception on shortwave bands, day or night, and regardless the season. A small amount of rust and cosmetic damage. All switches, controls and dials work but the dial will need alignment. I finally gave up trying to repair myself and took it to a shop. They told me it needs new coils but due to age those parts are not available. SO if you have a secret source for coils or know how to fabricate themselves, this radio orphan would love to be adopted! Open to offers but please note I’ve invested almost $300 trying to bring this puppy back to life so please no low balling.

This radio has been power tested only. It powered up just fine and the lights behind the panels lit up. No further testing has been done. This radio came from a recent estate sale from a collector. Externally the radio is nice but does have some wear. Please see photos. All buttons and knobs are present and work. This is being sold as is / for parts or repair only with no returns accepted as this radio has not been fully tested.

This is heavy, would be a good pick up item. It powers on, lights up, The Carrier Level Indicator needle goes over to about 5 units a couple seconds after turning on. That is all the testing that has been done.
