A very desirable, collectable, and important classic in the field of Dermatology. It’s in very good condition. 1166 clean, white, unmarked pages. Text block top is gilded. Good binding. The exterior has light wear with minor corner bumps and pressed/frayed spine cover ends and a couple of torn page bottoms. Text is not affected. There is a pic. 449 illustrations…some in color. The images are explicit and sometimes very shocking. The amount of content is huge with the table of contents running to 10 pages. Some of the diseases aren’t as common as they were in 1921 while others are still here…. serious, dangerous, and disfiguring.

Internal condition of the book is very good+. It’s hard to overestimate the quality of the illustrations and the heavy, top notch paper used. The exterior has minor wear…..Very light corner bumps, edge wear, spine cover ends lightly rubbed. No exterior soiling. Overall condition is very good.

Very scarce book, 1917 printing. All pictures are of the exact item you will receive. Covers have staining and general wear as pictured. Corner bending. Pages inside are bound tightly and book feels very sturdy. I didn’t see any rips, writing or water damage. Pages are very clean for the most part. A few small dot stains and light yellow staining in a few pages. See last picture for example. Most have no wear, just slightly discolored from aging around the edges.
