The inside of both front and back covers are stained darker than the interior of the book. Front cover shows wear and had faded. See photos. 2) Nursing Care of Communicable Diseases by Mary Elizabeth Pillsbury B.S, R.N., M.A., 5th Edition 1940, Hardcover. The paper cover is torn up but the book is in good shape with the fold out inserts excellent! See photos. 3) A Review of Nursing with outlines of subjects Q&A by Helen F. Hansen, R.N., 3rd Edition 1941, Hardcover. This book has some questions answered in pencil and a blemish on the front cover. The last page has writing on it and looks like notes were torn out. Includes both books as pictured. They are in good, pre-owned condition. There are signs of normal use, such as creases, small tears, highlighting, underlining, and note taking. I My daughter had sticker tabs on the top of several pages, but she removed them. Removing the tabs tore a few pages a bit, but nothing that affects use. These books are very usable. I have added several detailed photos so you can see the exact condition. Many of the pages are not marked on, but I took several that show the highlighting and study notes. Sold as is. Both will be shipped by media mail
