This vintage book has a secure binding. The pages have quite a bit of yellow highlighting, and a smaller amount of writing. The first few pages of the book, which list the university casebook series books, are missing. The pages are lightly stained in the front of the book. The last few pages of the book are also missing, and there is writing / scribbling at the end of the index and the back end papers. The cover has quite a bit of cosmetic damage, and the text block is stained from age. See photos for detail

This is a pre-owned Victorian law book from 1896. It's volume 18. This book does have some imperfections. However, the inner core of the book is good and legible. So what are the flaws? The leather covers and spine have some marks and fraying primarily along the edges. This is an ex-Libris book. There is the prior owners stamp on the inside cover.
