This listing is for a Kenwood KA-7100 integrated amplifier. It has been partially serviced. I clean it up and cleaned all contacts. The relay has been pulled and contacts have been cleaned. All switches and knobs are clean and noise free. All inputs works as they should. The left channel is noisy. Not always, but more than not. The right channel sounds great. Cosmetically the unit is pretty clean throughout. There is some light corrosion on the case. The fCe and knovs show minimal wear. Over all the piece presents quite well. Please check the pictures. This amp is working great and looks very nice. The only thing worth noting is that the “Line Straight” light isn’t working. To be honest, I’m not sure it ever has. Operationally, I would rate the amp a 9.5 out of 10, and cosmetically, a 9 out of 10. If you look at the pictures, you will see a lot of fingerprints on the face. Other than that, you will find some light, general wear for a unit that is 40-some years old. The removable rosewood panels are beautiful. Please see all of the photos and feel free to ask questions. Excellent sounding integrated amplifier. It is very well built and highly regarded top of the line unit. This is the rarest one being a multi voltage unit. One of the knob caps fell off, as seen in one picture. Another knobs base was glued back together, but it seems to be fine. These knobs are available online if needed.

I tested all the inputs, the knobs and the headphone jack. Everything works. I unplugged the unit and all the wires, gave it a dedicated wall outlet and the problem fixed itself, so it looks like the CAP5 protection system works.
