This sansui eq has been with my sansui AU-9500 integrated amp. This baby makes all the difference when you have bad acoustics in your home. It does not color the sound it just boost or reduces the frequency of your choice. I think the people that says equalizers and setting all your setting flat are morons. No single application has the same acoustic environment. I love equalizers
