I shot the poplar body in matte black with a matte clear coat. The frets were leveled, crowned, dressed and buffed to a jewelry shine. Rosewood fretboard cleaned and oiled. The setup is amazing, low and sweet. New Ernie Ball strings. The original electronics were happily ripped out and replaced with Geezer Butler EMG P/JB pickups and electronics. They are incredible, versatile and sound better than anything else I’ve tried. New black metal knurled speed knobs are on the way and will be installed prior to shipping.
