Brand new in open box. Box was sealed when it came into my possession but due to some moisture stains on the outside I opened it to inspect the device - it is in perfect condition. Also note, this particular device came from storage in a smoking home, so the box does have a slight smell. But given that the contents were unopened and sealed, the machine should not carry any odor.
