No remote. Will start to play vhs tape then will go to blue screen and only play the audio. If you pause it or fast forward it you can see the picture again but when u hit play again it goes to blue screen. The dvd player just continually says loading and never loads. Make sure you know you are purchasing a unit that needs some kind of repair. A tamper proof sticker has been placed on this to prevent from fraudulent returns.
