This is not the most modern tape deck on the market, that being said for its age it still is in working condition, both sides work with the standard speed fluctuations and issues of an older tape deck, that being said it's still a great tape deck, and still has features that you can't find on modern decks which makes this a good overall back-up deck, or just something cool for the studio.
