Camcorder does work but has a few flaws. Plays and records tapes no issue, charger charges batteries, and comes with accessories shown. Known issues are the battery does not hold a charge for super long so that will likely need to be replaced, and the LCD screen has a really weird viewing angle where if you look at it directly it's super over-exposed but if you look at it at an angle it's mostly ok.
