The radio and the CD side works with no problems. But on the cassette side, when you play a cassette or press play, there is a humming/buzzing sound. It does play the cassette and you can hear it from the boombox, but you also hear that humming/buzzing sound.

Radio works perfectly fine, haven’t tested the cassette player but was bought under the impression that it worked. Comes with working batteries because I can’t be bothered to keep them My loss could be your gain if you know your way around these players

This old boom box is in pretty good shape. I did not test any of the jacks for headphones or mics etc. I operated on D cell batteries and do not have a power cord. The antenna is in great shape with a very slight bend on the end, however it is fully in tact.
