Very LOUD and heavy piece of equipment. This Quasar boombox is a rare find. Radio works perfectly. Tape player works as well just not as loud, needs a tune-up. There is no major damage on this boom box it does have signs of wear. Has some rust on speaker screens. Currently powered off of 12v batteries. Needs a power cable. JVC rc - m 70 w Boombox in very good condition. The only thing that needs work is the cassette player needs a new belt, but it worked fine for years previous to that. The sound is very strong and loud from both speakers.

Clean little unit! Vintage. Tested with cord: tape deck works. Radio works. CD player works. Headphones Jack works. Volume up down works - seems to jump in random increments on the display, but sound steadily goes up and down. Power button works. Tuner works. Plug and cord in good condition. Antenna is included and works but it has a crimp in it keeping it from going in the last little bit. See pics. I think you could fix with pliers but I don’t want to mess with it. Could also just swap for a new antenna if you really care. From smoke and pet free environment. Ask any questions before purchase.
