Tony Bremner and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded this LP in the mid-'80s, the second of two modern orchestral re-recordings of music from the original series. The music is rather formless to the ear, very much in keeping with the eerie, dreamlike order of action in this episode, set in the midst of an illusion -- the unifying portion of the score is Fielding's odd variation on the tune "Buffalo Gal.".
