Tested by playing several tapes over the last few days. Smooth playback, rewind, and fast forward. Tried a brand new blank cassette could not get it to move the cassette tape on record. Cosmetically above average given its age. Has a few nicks on the bottom of the faceplate the size of the tip of an ink pen. Really not noticeable unless you’re looking for it up close.
