Hard to find! This antique “flatbed” style typewriter is a Royal Standard model #1, dating from 1910. This would be the last model 1 line before Royal Standard began producing the more common #5 model. This fascinating piece of history needs some cleaning up and TLC - there is minor damage to the left of the wooden space bar, expected signs of age, and the ribbon is broken. Working condition is unknown, but carriage and keys seem to move freely. However with the age this should be a considered a display piece and is sold as is.
