Classic, very desirable medical text deemed culturally important. Thick, heavy book, 885 pages, 599 excellent illustrations in b/w and color. Written by a well known and respected M.D. of the time. The pages are unmarked and unfolded. The first few and last few pages have light, very scattered foxing. Further into the book the pages are crisp as if the book was rarely opened. Top of the text block has light soiling. Exterior has bumped/scraped corners. Binding is good. Overall condition is easily good+.
