Good copy of a very scarce work by Nicholas Senn, a preeminent surgeon of the 19th. century. His books are still referenced today and highly sought after. This copy is in good condition with 718 unmarked and clean pages. The binding is good. The book is ex-library so there’s small library stamps on the text blocks three sides. There’s also a couple of small embossed stamps on the first couple of pages along with a signature. The first couple and last couple of pages are age toned but all other pages have just a faint hint of tone near the page edges. There are mending tissue gutter repairs front and back. The exterior is clean with corner bumps and worn spine cover ends. Generously, explicitly, and superbly illustrated.
