Blue Hubbard (Cucurbita maxima) is a more popular Hubbard variety of winter squash. The bluish-gray, ridged and coarsely warted squash will weigh in at maturity between 15 and 30 lbs. Deep orange flesh that will have a sweet nutty taste, similar to a sweet potato.
