This should work in 9600, 8600, 7600, 7500 etc. I found that the buffalo drivers are really picky about which processor they work with so I find it a pain to swap them around to try them. Instead I've found that the XLR8 driver works really well as it seems to be nearly universally compatible with these types of upgrades and has more options.
