The face is really clean. The sides have a little wear. I'm not a tech, but I can tell you that this unit is whisper quite and a solid performer. It never lets me down. The sound is right down the middle. Not too colored, but just enough cleaned up so a bad recording is listenable. Thanks for looking and please let know if you have any questions.
