Vintage SONY Bookshelf Speakers SS-CCP11 Hifi Stereo Speakers - Tested & Working
They sound quite good for their size and would work great for a mini stereo setup. The speakers have a wooden core, and the veneer seems to be a simulated wood material (it does look fairly convincing).
