Vintage L.F.&C. (Landers, Frary & Clark) No. 1 “Universal” Food Chopper / Meat Grinder. Made in New Britain, Connecticut, USA, dating to the late 1800s–early 1900s. Heavy cast iron construction with original wooden handle. Features clamp-on base for countertop use. Marked with patent dates (1897–1899 range). Condition: • Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina • Turns smoothly • Includes internal auger • No cracks or major damage observed Great piece for collectors, farmhouse décor, or functional vintage kitchen use.
