If this looks like a bit more sporty than your average typewriter, that’s because it was designed by two famous automotive designers at the Italian design firm Ghia and introduce in 1972, with racing stripes on the cover, “tire treads” on the bottom in place of feet, and in sporty colors like this teal, as well as orange and mocha brown, all sporting the Ghia logo.
