I have a beautiful stave shell custom drum made out of alternating segments of Mapa Burl Maple and Purple Heart. The size is 5"x13" and the drum is like new. It has die-cast hoops and sounds phenomenal. Only a few small scratches on the chrome strainer, other than that and the batter head the drum is minty. Very cool drum, I just never use it. I will pack it and send it inside an older soft shell Ludwig case in fair condition. The drum was made for me by the late Doug Streeter of Animal Custom Drums appx 10 years ago.
