The top of the Coffee basket assembly is broke off. It sits in its place but can be detached. It shouldn't be like that, but it has zero effect on coffee production, and taste. Also the drip cup under the carafe is missing(responsible for collecting any incidental coffee droplets). Again it has little to no effect on overall performance, but it is gone.
