This is a Panasonic-brand portable CD player (model SL--SX280). This item is for the unit only, it does not include batteries, headphones, or anything else that would have been included with it if it were new in the box. This item is used but is tested and works quite well. It has a little bit of wear, mostly smudges or marker since the previous owner felt the need to write which way the battery terminals go and "off" near the "hold" button. Other than those things, it's in pretty good shape. I popped a cd into it and listened to it through headphones and it worked with no problems and it sounded very good. After a wipe-down I'm sure it will look great, but the main thing is that it plays great.
