The camera does work and comes with a battery and power cord. However, i do not have the battery charger and the cord is broken on the end. The camera will turn on for about 10 seconds when plugged in but then turns off after saying the battery is dead. Best case scenario, you buy a charger and charge the battery and everything works. Worst case, you need to purchase a new battery as well. It comes with 2 discs but i dont know whats on them or if they can be recorded over or how that works. If you have any questions, please ask.
