Unit does turn on and scans. Audio works well. It picks up analog signals but does not decode any P25 Phase II signals. I have a P25 and a DMR radio and the unit decodes those signals fine. If your listening area does not have P25 Phase II or NXDN, this is a great cost savings for you.
