Vintage 1949 Smith Corona Sterling Portable Typewriter & Case Needs Servicing Item is pre owned. Nice condition, the machine looks nice and was well cared for, stored in a climate controlled home for many years. Some of the keys stick when I tested it so i will likely need to be cleaned/serviced to work correctly. I didn’t note anything that was broken or fully non-functioning, just needs some attention. Original owner attended Dover High School (sticker on the case) and was a writer for several Ohio newspapers beginning in the 1950s. I believe this is a 1949 model so he likely would have gotten this one while in college. Please refer to photos for detail.
